I do wish both side were of equal length b/c it would make it easier to use and the fit its not exactly comfortable, they feel like they're about to fall off constantly but never do. B/c of the brand I guess I was expecting more but given the price its quite a bargain. I can hear perfectly and everything's so clear, but the other person on the other line can hear everything going on in the background, and I mean EVERYTHING, so I guess its a little uncomfortable for them, but given the price I can overlook everything and say its quite a bargain.
The headphones work as advertised - sound and mic are very good quality. I personally prefer the earbuds because they block out distractions.Sony also sends 3 different sized rubber replacements to accomodate ear size differences.My only issue is the plug could have been a standard jack / Universal headphone connector; the plug can become dislodged fairly easily if inserted in a pants pocket.To be fair though; Sony does accomodate Std headphones by incorporating an in-line jack_
So in my opinion, these are great for listening to music with your Sony Walkman phone, but not really for phone conversations. However, because of the sound blocking, using them as the earphones for a phone conversation is definitely hampered. The snug (but comfortable) fit in the ear makes these earphones great at blocking out background noise -- perfect for listening to music on noisy commutes. Pulling one of the earphones out helps with this. The sound quality of these headphones is really good. Great bass and sound separation. With both headphones in, I find myself shouting or talking annoyingly loudly because I cannot hear myself speaking.
Works great my buddy found it as a three pack with the Sony Ericson USB Cable & Scandisk Micro Memorystick set for all for about $20 plus shipping. I would highly recommend it.
Haven't tried to use it as a headset, but just to listen to music and let me say the quality is fantastic. If you've got music on your phone, these are a great addition. I've been using this for a few months now. Especially for the price.
